Field Data Collection System

Both ranch management and accounting efficiency is overburdened by the redundant manual data entry, costly errors and omissions, and the printing and preparing of punch cards associated with the paper punch card systems.  To assist growers in gaining control of the time they spend keying data, the Field Data Collection System allows this: With a simple tap on an employees touch button, with a handheld pen, the employee and their carton count are tracked for loading into the computerized payroll system.  The system can include additional data such as production statistics, inventory control, and cooler receipt reconciliation.  Data accuracy is increased with the ability to check for double "taps" and to print individual employee receipts before leaving the field.
